Talking All Things Nature Makers on the Class Business Awards Podcast

I recently had the pleasure of joining Krissy on the Class Business Awards podcast for a conversation about the journey behind Nature Makers.

Nature Makers is a finalist in the Service Innovation category at the Class Business Awards 2026, and ahead of the awards, Krissy invited me to share more about how we started, how we've evolved and what we're building now.

We talked about my journey from a 15-year corporate career to starting Nature Makers alongside my job and growing it from one preschool class into the UK-wide franchise it is today.

We also explored why I chose franchising, what I love about giving franchisees a proven model that they can make their own, and how Nature Makers has evolved to offer multiple revenue streams across families, schools, nurseries, care homes, charities, adult workshops and community experiences.

We chatted about our move further into natural wellbeing, our new IPHM-accredited Nature Makers Wellbeing Practitioner Training, and why I believe training people in what to deliver isn't enough, we also need to give them the tools and support to turn that learning into a sustainable, successful business.

And, of course, we talked about some of the beautiful impact our franchisees are creating in their local communities.
