Nature Makers Named Finalist in National Service Innovation Award

We are delighted to announce that Nature Makers has been named a finalist in the Service Innovation category at The Class Business Awards 2026.

This recognition celebrates the exciting evolution of Nature Makers and our commitment to creating meaningful impact through nature, creativity and wellbeing.

The Class Business Awards, founded by Krissy Monaghan, recognise excellence across the UK's class-based business sector, celebrating organisations that deliver exceptional experiences while building sustainable, values-led businesses and creating positive change within their communities.

Being shortlisted in the Service Innovation category is particularly meaningful because it recognises the work we have undertaken over the past 18 months to evolve Nature Makers beyond a traditional children's activity business into a whole-life natural wellbeing organisation.

Evolving to Meet the Needs of Our Communities

Nature Makers began with a simple mission: helping children connect with nature through creativity, exploration and play.

Over time, however, we began to see something remarkable.

Families told us their children were becoming calmer, more confident and more connected. Adults attending workshops reported reduced stress and improved wellbeing.

Schools increasingly sought support around emotional wellbeing and nature-based learning.

It became clear that the impact of Nature Makers extended far beyond childhood.

In response, we developed a new strategic direction centred on whole-life natural wellbeing, creating opportunities to support people of all ages through nature connection, creativity and mindful experiences.

Innovation Through Opportunity

One of the most significant developments has been the launch of our accredited Nature Makers Wellbeing Practitioner training programme.

This innovation has enabled franchisees to expand their services into schools, wellbeing settings, community projects, adult workshops and family experiences, creating multiple revenue streams while increasing their impact locally.

The programme's accreditation by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) has further strengthened the credibility of the training and opened exciting new opportunities for the future.

Recognition for the Entire Network

Whilst awards often focus on businesses, this recognition belongs to our entire network.

Every franchisee, practitioner, partner venue, school and family has contributed to the growth and evolution of Nature Makers.
