At Nature Makers, creativity, community and care for the environment are at the heart of everything we do. But during our annual Community Give Back Week, those values truly come to life, thanks to the passion and generosity of our amazing franchise network!
This year, we’ve been blown away by the impact our franchisees have made in their local communities. Here are just some of the highlights we’re so proud to share.
Bringing Joy Through Creativity
Creating meaningful moments for others was a strong theme throughout the week.
Becky (Franchisee of Solihull & surrounding area) spent time at Blossomfield Rose Care Home, where she led a beautiful workshop decorating recycled jars with pressed flowers. Residents shared that they rarely get the chance to take part in activities like this, making the session not just creative, but deeply uplifting.
Similarly, Debbie (Franchisee of Wolverhampton & Bridgnorth) dedicated her time to working with poorly children and their families on the children’s ward at New Cross Hospital, offering moments of creativity and calm during incredibly difficult times.

Ruth (Franchisee in Coventry) gave back to her local home education community by hosting a free meet-up, recognising the support they’ve shown her sessions. It was a simple but powerful way to strengthen relationships and say thank you.
Caring for Local Spaces
Looking after the environment is a key part of the Nature Makers mission, and many of our franchisees took action to improve their local outdoor spaces.
Marie (Franchisee in East Dulwich and the surrounding areas) worked with her after-school club to tackle litter in their nature garden, turning it into a hands-on learning experience for the children, who could see the immediate difference they made.

In a similar effort, Sara (Franchisee in Beckenham to Thornton Heath) supported children at James Dixon Primary School in preparing a new garden area for EYFS and SEN pupils. Through litter picking and weeding, the children not only improved the space but also developed a real sense of pride and ownership.

Mel (Franchisee in Crawley, East Grinstead & Reigate area) volunteered at Furzefield Primary Academy, helping to transform their EYFS garden. Her efforts, alongside the children, created a more inviting and inspiring outdoor learning environment.
Meanwhile, Zsofi (Franchisee in Chichester, Bognor Regis and the Surrounding Areas) organised a community litter pick in Bognor Regis, encouraging local people to come together and take collective responsibility for their environment.

Inspiring Communities Through Events
Our franchisees also brought Nature Makers into the heart of their communities through events and outreach.
Caroline (Franchisee in Portsmouth, Petersfield, and the surrounding areas) hosted free activities at the Petersfield Seed Swap, where children created clay seed “bombs” and nature decorations, combining creativity with environmental education in a fun, accessible way.

Robyn (Franchisee in Cheshire mid and Chester) connected with the Buddy & Befriending group in Cheshire, supporting older members of the community and helping to combat isolation by sharing the benefits of creativity and nature-based activities.
Kirsty (Franchisee in Newport South Wales) used social media to offer free session spaces, making her classes accessible to families who may not otherwise have been able to attend.
And Katherine (Franchisee in North of Tyne) created beautiful decoupage log slice decorations, encouraging donations towards a wildflower garde, blending creativity with fundraising for a lasting community impact.
Small Actions, Big Difference
What stands out most is how every action, big or small, made a difference.
From school gardens to hospital wards, care homes to community events, our franchisees have shown that giving back isn’t about grand gestures—it’s about meaningful ones.
Growing Our Impact Even Further
Alongside the incredible grassroots efforts of our franchise network, Nature Makers HQ has also contributed to global environmental efforts by partnering with JustOneTree, funding the planting of 50 additional trees.
It’s another step forward in our commitment to nurturing the planet for future generations.
Thank You to Our Nature Makers Community
To every franchisee who took part a big thank you!
Your kindness, creativity and commitment have touched lives, strengthened communities and helped protect the environment. You’ve truly embodied what Nature Makers stands for.
Together, we are raising a generation that cares.

I really liked the idea behind “small actions, big impact,” especially the way the article describes simple community activities adding up to something meaningful over the week. It made me think about how people often underestimate those small contributions, even though they’re usually what keep initiatives going long term. In a different context, it’s a bit like how breaking things down into manageable pieces—whether it’s volunteering or even using something like English Assignment help in UK—can make something feel far less overwhelming. Do you find that people tend to stay more engaged when the focus is on these smaller, more achievable actions rather than bigger commitments?
